FMD - Central Mechanical / Electrical
Central Mechanical/Electrical is responsible for the operation of the Physical
Plant Operations Center and maintenance and operation of all large
building mechanical, electrical, and vertical transportation
systems. These include large building chillers, air handlers,
electrical switch gear and distribution systems, and elevators
and escalators.
The Operations Center provides 24-hour operation and
management of the University's building automation system and
continuous monitoring of fire alarm systems.
All Physical Plant services can be accessed by making a
request through the Customer Service Center.
